We do a lot of weddings. And the thing that surprises couples most is how much the transport logistics matter. You can have the most gorgeous finca in Mallorca, the perfect caterer, flowers flown in from Amsterdam -- but if the bride is late because nobody thought about the access road, or half the guests can't find a taxi home at midnight, that's what people remember.
So here's everything we've learned about planning wedding transfers in Mallorca after years of doing this.
Don't Leave Transport for Last
This is the mistake we see most often. Everything else is booked months ahead, but the cars get sorted two weeks before. By then, especially in peak season (May through October), the good vehicles are taken. Lock it in three to six months out.
Your transport timeline should match your event schedule exactly. Here's what a typical Mallorca wedding day looks like from our side: bridal party pickup at 3 p.m., guest shuttle leaves from a central meeting point at 3:30, ceremony starts at 4:30, maybe a quick photo stop at a viewpoint around 6 p.m., and return shuttles running from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Every single one of those movements needs a vehicle, a confirmed time, and a 15-minute buffer. Because things always run a little late.
The Bridal Car
Most brides here choose a Mercedes S-Class in white or black, decorated with fresh flowers and ribbon. It's a quiet, smooth ride with enough rear-seat space that you're not worrying about your dress getting crushed. Which, if you've ever tried fitting a wedding dress into the back of a taxi, you'll appreciate.
Some couples prefer the Mercedes V-Class instead -- it gives you room to have the bridesmaids and a photographer in the same car, which makes the journey itself part of the photos. Either way, we coordinate flower arrangements and ribbon colours with local florists. Just let us know your colour palette at least two weeks before and we'll take care of it.
Getting the Guests There (and Home)
If your guests are spread across two or three hotels, a Mercedes Sprinter running a circuit between them is the easiest solution. It seats 16 in comfort and can do two or three hotel pickups before heading to the venue.
The return shuttles are actually the most important part. At rural venues like Son Marroig or up in the Tramuntana, there are basically no taxis after 10 p.m. You need a way to get people home safely. Return shuttles do that, and they also prevent anyone from getting behind the wheel after the reception.
Venue-Specific Tips
Son Marroig
Up on the cliffs above Deia, incredible sunset views, that famous marble temple. But the access road is narrow and twisting. Full-size coaches don't fit. We use smaller vehicles and stagger arrivals so there's no bottleneck at the top. Our drivers do this road regularly, so they know exactly where to park and how to manage the flow.
La Fortaleza
The old military fortress on Cap de Pinar in Pollensa -- probably the most exclusive wedding venue in Europe. Access is controlled and security has specific protocols. We've worked with La Fortaleza many times, so we know the drill. Timing has to be precise, and everything needs to be coordinated with the venue team in advance.
Cap Rocat
Just 20 minutes from Palma Airport in Cala Blava, which makes it ideal for destination weddings where guests are flying in on the day. We can set up back-to-back airport transfers with each car meeting a different flight. Guests go straight from the runway to the venue.
The Little Things That Matter
Chilled champagne in the bridal car. Petals on the seats. The couple's playlist playing through the Bluetooth speakers. Ribbon and floral garlands on the outside of the car for photos when the bride arrives. These details might sound small, but they make the moments feel special. We've done enough weddings to know what works.

Making the Day Run Smoothly
Pick one person -- best man, planner, whoever -- as the transport contact. Give them every driver's mobile number and a printed timeline. Send that timeline to the drivers 48 hours before, with pickup locations, venue addresses, and any gate codes or access instructions.
And build in buffers. Mallorca summer traffic is unpredictable, especially on the Ma-1 coast road through the Tramuntana. We watch traffic in real time and reroute if we need to, but a 15-minute cushion on every pickup saves a lot of stress.
