Yacht Day Trips from Mallorca: Getting to the Marina in Style

A yacht day in Mallorca is one of those experiences that actually lives up to the hype. Crystal water, hidden coves, lunch anchored off a cliff somewhere -- it's properly good. But the bit that catches people off guard is the getting-to-the-marina part. Parking at Puerto Portals in August? Good luck. And trying to find a taxi to take you back to your hotel after a day in the sun? Even worse luck.

That's why we handle marina transfers -- it's a small detail that makes the whole day work better.

Where the Boats Leave From

The main marinas for yacht day trips in Mallorca are Club de Mar in Palma, Puerto Portals, Port Adriano, and Port de Pollensa up in the north. We'll drive you from your hotel or straight from Palma Airport to whichever marina your charter departs from. Your chauffeur drops you at the quay, helps with any bags or cooler boxes, and either waits or comes back at an agreed time.

Where You'll Actually Go on the Water

From Palma, most charters head south towards the turquoise water at Es Trenc, or east to the sea caves at Cala Varques. From Puerto Portals, boats typically cruise southwest along the coast towards Sa Dragonera island. And from Pollensa, you get access to the remote coves along the Formentor peninsula and the Cap de Pinar coastline. All of them are worth it.

Things to Bring

Sun cream, obviously. Light clothes, soft-soled shoes so you don't mark the deck. Most charter companies will tell you the same thing. If you need to grab anything on the way -- drinks, snacks, whatever -- just tell your chauffeur and we'll stop somewhere en route. We've transported cooler boxes, paddleboards, snorkelling gear, all sorts.

The Pickup After

This is the part people always appreciate most. After five or six hours on the water, you're tired, salty, a bit sunburned. The last thing you want is to wander around the marina trying to find a ride. Just WhatsApp us as you're coming into harbour and your Mercedes will be waiting dockside. Straight back to the hotel, air conditioning on, cold water in the back.

Make It a Full Day

Here's what a lot of guests do: book a full-day chauffeur service. We take you to the marina in the morning, stay on call while you're out on the water, then drive you to a restaurant for dinner afterwards. Marina to restaurant to hotel, no planning required. It's a properly great Mallorca day.
